Below is a guide on sizing, portions and pricing. We can always give you a quote so please do get in touch.

Here is a size guide for our cakes. A party sized portion is a bit bigger than a coffee/ wedding cake portion.

A dessert size is 5 inch high and 1 x 1 inch width and depth.

Coffee portion is 5 inch high 1 inch depth and 2 inch width.

How do I cut my cake?

You may have a chef or caterer at your venue who will be cutting your cake and they should know how to do this professionally. If you are doing it yourself then this guide will help.

Single tier

Below is a guide to our prices for our single tiered cakes. Our GOSH cake price is fixed but our other cakes do need to be individually priced based on level of decoration. Please use the below table as a guide. We understand it can be important to stick to a budget so please let us know what yours is so we can advise appropriately.

Two tiers

If you are looking for a tiered cake then we have a range of sizes on offer. We are always here to advise you on the size you will need for your celebration so please get in touch.

We often use fresh flowers to decorate our cakes. Due to the bespoke nature of this we will need to price fresh flowers when you enquire. Pricing is based on seasons, type, amount and style. You can add fresh flowers to GOSH cakes for an additional £5-£10.

Three tiers

Three tier cakes are typically wedding cakes, please use the table as a guide to see how much your cake could cost. Delivery is calculated separately. We can decorate in situ with fresh flowers provided by your florist. Depending on the level of design this costs between £50-£75.

Four tiers and extra tall cakes

We love making cakes that have the extra wow factor of four tiers or extra tall tiers. You can really have fun with the dimensions of your cake. This will of course give you some extra portions. If you do not need more cake then we can always use a dummy cake in its place. This gives you the size and impact you are looking for even if you do not need the actual cake to eat.
