You can have a hand drawing of your cake so you can be sure of the look and be confident that it will fit into the rest of the aspects of your wedding day. When its all over this also makes a lovely keepsake. Tastings can also be arranged to help you choose your flavour(s). We have over 6 years experience and love making wedding cakes, you can have a look at more of our previous work here. We always set your cake up perfectly at your venue and liaise with your florist and wedding co-ordinator to take the stress out so you can get on with enjoying your day!

Should I make my own wedding cake? A question I had been asked many a time, as I was not engaged it was hard to say. In February 2016 my boyfriend of nearly four years asked me to marry him, it was a cold perfect day down on Hove seafront and we were walking our friends dog Cookie. I said yes immediately, I was quite overwhelmed as I was pregnant with our first baby, due at the end of July. Noels family all live overseas, they were all visiting to meet the new addition to the family so we thought why don't we just get married too! I have lost count of how many weddings I have worked at...
Our experience at Gosh Patisserie is wider than cakes, we make desserts too. We were approached by Azaro the Indian restaurant in Hove. Our brief was to design a dessert suitable for Valentines day. We suggested a chilli and chocolate decadent cake served with mango kulfi and a red sugar tuille. The result was delicious and very fitting for a valentines meal.
On the weekend of Halloween I had the pleasure of delivering two wedding cakes to Pangdean Barn. One on the Friday and one for Saturday. Pangdean has to be one of the best wedding venues I have worked with recently. It is very well set up, professionally run and organised. Not to mention beautiful and just outside Brighton and Hove! Friday's wedding groom had very skilfully made an amazing stand to present their wedding cake on, isn't it brilliant! I also loved the deliciousness of Saturday's wedding cake, it was chocolate cake with kirsch cherries, cherry compote, vanilla white chocolate cream and dark chocolate ganache.
